The forum will allow park visitors and community members to learn more about the proposal and share their perspectives. Wyoming State Parks staff will be available to discuss the park’s planning process and listen to attendees' input.


Public feedback will help inform ongoing discussions as Wyoming State Parks considers future opportunities at Sinks Canyon State Park.

“Community feedback is vital as we plan for the future of Sinks Canyon,” said Carly-Ann Carruthers, planning manager for the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources. “These discussions help ensure that future projects reflect our visitors' and partners' needs and values.”


Sinks Canyon WILD will co-host this event, a unifying voice for Lander citizens who desire to protect Sinks Canyon’s wildlife, wildlands, and cultural resources while promoting low-impact, dispersed recreation. Learn more at sinkscanyonwild.org.
